“In 2004, archaeology professor Robert Muckle was alerted to a site within the forests of British Columbia’s North Shore mountains, where a few old cans and a sawblade had been discovered. He suspected the area was once home to a historic logging camp, but he did not anticipate that he would spend the next 14 years unearthing sign after sign of a forgotten Japanese settlement—one that appears to have been abruptly abandoned.”

Japanese Pepsi Halloween Cola

Japanese Pepsi Halloween Cola

That pink is scary. The flavor is supposed to be secret and guessed. Some guess cherry or strawberry candy, but I think it’s more like raspberry and bubble gum. Not even cola.

I didn’t edit the photo even though the lighting was dark because the colors and contrasts came out more spooky as is.

Meltykiss green tea chocolate from Japan

“deep & rich green tea cube chocolate”. Manufactured by Meiji. Purchased from 3shel1d on eBay.

The packaging shows the chocolates covered in a cocoa powder, but they were individually wrapped, so I guess the powder was pressed into the chocolate. They are still pretty good, like cubic bonbons or truffles. They’re about the width of a thumbnail, so one can easily eat a whole box of I lost count how many. It was easy.
