Eggs scrambled with paprika and Trader Joe’s jalapeño honey chèvre (goat cheese), baked at 400ºF. for 15 minutes in a buttered Lodge cast-iron melting pot. It puffed up like a soufflé, but fell a little when I plated it.

2016 apparently has plenty of fucks left to give. Huge RIP-ing fucks. I blame @iamjohnoliver for challenging it. Thanks, John. Thanks a lot.
RIP Ron Glass.
My office had a visit from the Thanksgiving Spider Wednesday morning. I brought it outside so it could spread Thanksgiving cheer to everyone else.
It looks like an American grass spider (genus
Agelenopsis), with a leg span of about 1.5 inches.
